Pineapple "steak"


Pineapples are delicious and sweet. Pineapple as a main dish with a green salad is luscious and perfect for plant-based eaters. 

Simplicity: easy

Time-Consuming: 60 minutes

Taste: sweet

Recommendations: serve with your favorite plant-based salad. I prefer a green arugula salad with avocado and citrus vinaigrette.  


Ingredients: 

1 pineapple, sliced

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

Himalaya pink salt and black pepper (optional)


Steps:

1- Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

2- Put the pineapples over the baking span. 

3- Sprinkle turmeric, salt, and pepper. 

4- Bake for 60 minutes. 

5- Serve hot, warm, or at room temperature.
